USIAC 2005 - Day 1
The Long Distances
Winds were a little gusty, perhaps 10
mph or 12 mph, most of the day, also very calm at times. I think many archers on
both sides were just trying a little too hard, but the wind was indeed a factor.
Humidity was a little high, but temps were not bad. Some electronic timer snafus
for a brief time, but Jack Milchanowski is a very experienced hand at running
the shooting of a tourney and it was no big deal. Overcast and hazy skies
prevented the sun from being much of a factor.
