For the FITA, shot on a single day with double lines, the winds were
almost completely absent, the temperature was a leetle on the hot side of 85+ F
with high humidity, and some records were broken. For the OR, shooting started
at 7am in a heavy fog that lent an eerie feeling to the morning. The fog cleared
by 8am (when scoring started) and once again the conditions for archery were
stellar. Low winds, good temperatures, and lots of happy archers. All of the
matches went like clockwork, and there were a few shootoffs, mainly on the
compounders. As with the FITA day, several new national records (Star FITA) were
set.
