The archer is nearing the CLICK area, you can see that the bent wrist has begun to straighten out (but is not fully there) and indeed the string fingers are begining to be put under pressure.
They will receive MOST of the normal amount of weight of the draw, only at the instant before click.. See also the clamp's orientation away from the forearm.
You will only do this wrong once before learning to orient it the right way. (Smack, Yeoww!)
