Well, 2008 is almost here. Time to make plans for your 2008 tournaments. We thank COPARCO for selecting us to be a World Ranking Event for 2008. We thank USA Archery for selecting us to be a USAT qualifying tournament. We are also pleased to have AAE Cavalier USA return as our Title Sponsor. Our tournament is scheduled for April 9 - 13, 2008 and generally will operate on this schedule: Wed, Apr 9 Check-in, EQ inspection and practice Thurs, Apr 10 72 arrows at 70 meters Fri, Apr 11 72 arrows at 70 meters, Open Team Rounds Sat, Apr 12 Individual Elimination Matches Sun, Apr 13 National Team Rounds The 2008 website is up and running at www.arizonacup.com where you can find the latest information. Registration forms for individuals and for National Teams are online at the "Forms" link in the left column. Registration postmark deadline before a late fee is imposed is March 21, 2008. Late entries will be accepted up to the field capacity in the order received. Notice to top ranked US archers: We will be contacting you regarding the USA National Team for the 2008 AAE Arizona Cup National Team Event. This USA team will be based on the top three per category based on the final 2007 rolling ranking as of Dec. 31, 2007. Notice to the Olympic Trials Shadow Team: The AAE Arizona Cup is a good chance to become familiar with the venue where the Final Nomination shoot will take place just a few weeks later. Notice to Non-USA archers: Please start the VISA and Passport process early. Let us know early if you need a personized invitation. Visit www.state.gov for specific requirements.
