FORMAT:

Winners in the round of 16 advance to the round of 8 and winners in the round of 8 advance to the round of 4. Winners in the round of 4 will shoot off for 1st and 2nd place. Losers in the round of 4 will shoot off for 3rd and 4th place. 5th and 6th place will be determined by the highest cumulative scores from the losers of the round of 8. If 5th and 6th place scores are tied from the round of 8, the tiebreaker will be the higher score from the archer’s 60 arrow round.

The Barebow and Recurve Divisions will shoot ends of 3 arrows in the rounds of 16, 8, 4 and the medal matches. Archers will have 2 minutes to shoot 3 arrows. The set system will be utilized, with 2 points awarded for a win, 1 for a tie and 0 for a loss. The first shooter to reach 6 points is the winner. Any matches tied after 5 ends will be decided by a single arrow shoot off, closest to the center. Winners in the round of 16 advance to the round of 8 and winners in the round of 8 advance to the round of 4. Winners in the round of 4 will shoot off for 1st and 2nd place. Losers in the round of 4 will shoot off for 3rd and 4th place. 5th and 6th place will be determined by the highest arrow average from all arrows shot in the round of 8.

SEEDING:

Round of 16 matches will be seeded based on scores from the TSAA State Championship 60 arrow round, with Seed 1 v Seed 16, Seed 2 v Seed 15, etc. Shooters will then advance through the brackets until four shooters remain.
